Q: Why has the Coconut Vinegar changed colour?
A: Our Coconut Vinegar is now made with Coconut Sap which is darker in colour, but the flavour profile is the same.
Q: What are the origins of your vinegars?
A: Our Red and White Wine Vinegars are from Italy, our Apple Cider Vinegar and Pomegranate Vinegar originate from Spain, our Coconut Aminos from Indonesia and Coconut Sap Vinegar from the Philippines.
Q: Are your Coconut Aminos fermented?
A: Yes, coconut aminos are produced with naturally fermented coconut sap. It's the only way to produce this ingredient.
Q: What are the white bits in my Coconut Aminos, is it still ok to use?
A: This product is made from coconut sap which contains sugars. If the product was heated in any way (left on a top/in a window in sunlight or left near a cooker maybe) – the crystals would then occur when the liquid has cooled (e.g. overnight). The product is fine to use.
Q: What types of apples are used in your Apple Cider Vinegar?
A: Amasya, Golden, Starking, Granny Smith, Galaxy, Txalaka, Andoain-Sagarra.
Q: How long is the production process for your Apple Cider Vinegar?
A: At least two weeks.

Q: What is the difference between Crude Black Strap Molasses and Black Treacle?
A: The Rayners Crude Black Strap Molasses is a conventional product. The Rayners Black Treacle is an organic product. Both are rich in minerals.
Q: Are enzymes used in the production process for Malt Extract?
A: No industrial enzymes are used by our supplier in the production process for Malt Extract. However, the malted barley does contain a wide variety of naturally occurring enzymes which come in to play during the production process. These are denatured (by heat) in the final product.
