Apple Cider Vinegar Hot Sauce

1/2 tbsp Coconut Oil

1/2 cup Red Onion, chopped

3 Garlic Cloves, minced

4 Jalapeños, diced

1/4 cup Rayner’s Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tbsp Maple Syrup

Pinch Salt & Pepper, to taste

Method:

1.       Heat the coconut oil in a pan over medium heat, then add the onion, garlic and jalapeños, sautéing until softened (5-7 minutes). Remove from the heat and allow to slightly cool.

2.       Transfer sauteed vegetables into a blender with the Apple Cider Vinegar, maple syrup, salt and pepper. Blend for 1 minute, and drizzle some water in if you wish to loosen the sauce.

3.       Allow to completely cool, then pour into bottles and jars to store in the fridge.

Notes:
- Change the type of chilli to change the spice level
- Swap out the syrup to adjust the sweetness
- Loosen the sauce with a splash of water
